Here, water flows down from the peaks, through the valley and shapes the landscape. It becomes a veritable guiding thread for exploring the region in a whole new way. Sensations, freshness, shared moments... water activities offer a great alternative to hiking and mountain outings.

A wide range of accessible activities
Around Puy Saint Vincent, there are a number of white-water activities that let you make the most of the Alpine rivers.
- Rafting is often the starting point. Aboard an inflatable boat, you descend the Durance in teams, guided by a professional. The activity is accessible from a very young age on certain courses, with a good balance between sensations and safety. It's a convivial experience, ideal for sharing.
- For a more sporting approach, hydrospeed puts you in direct contact with the water. Equipped with a float, you descend the river as close as possible to the currents. The sensations are more intense, but still supervised.
- Kayaking and airboating also offer a great alternative. More technical, these activities allow you to gain in autonomy while discovering the basics of whitewater navigation.
- Last but not least, canyoning takes you into deeper waters. Between jumps, natural slides and abseiling, you'll progress through waterfalls and gorges sculpted by the water. An immersive experience, both fun and refreshing.
