Prevention day with the pisteurs - Mission Avalanche

Want to learn more about mountain safety while having fun?
Join us on Sunday March 15 from 10am to 2pm at the Génie d'Oréac - Pré Rouge (Crêtes piste) for a prevention day led by the Puy Saint Vincent pisteurs.

Program:

  • Escape game "Mission Avalanche
    Put yourself in the shoes of a rescue team and take up the challenges to understand the right reflexes in the face of avalanche risk.

  • Meet the pisteurs
    Discover their job, their equipment and what goes on behind the scenes in ski area safety.

  • BBQ for participants
    A convivial opportunity to meet and share with the resort's teams.

A fun, educational and friendly morning, open to all, to better understand the mountains and enjoy skiing in complete safety.

  • Location: Génie d'Oréac - Pré Rouge, Crêtes piste

  • Times: 10am - 2pm

An exceptional moment in Puy Saint Vincent!

On Thursday February 26, Puy Saint Vincent is proud to welcome Charlotte Banks, gold medallist at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. Back on the slopes where she grew up, the champion will symbolically descend the resort alongside youngsters from the Club des Sports before presenting her medal at a speech in the amphitheatre on the 1600 snowfront, just before the traditional lantern-lit descent.

It's a unique opportunity to share emotion and inspiration with family and friends, to celebrate Olympic gold and the mountain spirit that drives Puy Saint Vincent.

Non-Stop Tuesdays: night skiing & parties at Puy Saint Vincent 1400

The pleasure of skiing into the night!

During the school vacations at Puy Saint Vincent, the day's skiing doesn't stop at 5pm. Every Tuesday, enjoyan extended experience from 9am to 7pm, with a night skiing extension from 5pm to 7pm on the Les Prés telecombi. At dusk, the illuminated slopes offer a different way of skiing: gentler, more fun, in a friendly, festive atmosphere.

Animated evenings in the heart of the resort

At Puy Saint Vincent 1400, the end of the day also marks the beginning of the party. Entertainment, live concerts, DJ nights and nocturnal slaloms give rhythm to the evenings, transforming the 1400 and 1600 snow fronts into veritable living spaces. These are moments to share with friends or family, for those who want to ski more... but not only.

Practical info

Night skiing is included in day and stay passes(excluding sector, 4h and 15h-Closing passes).
For those who don't have a valid ski pass, a night ski pass is available for €7, allowing you to fully enjoy the evening experience.

To celebrate this special occasion, festivities await you this evening on the snow fronts of Puy Saint Vincent 1400 and 1600. Shows, entertainment and a warm atmosphere will punctuate the evening for young and old alike. Join us on the snow fronts to share the magic of Christmas at altitude.

Cross-country time trial race

On Saturday December 27, the Lauzet plateau will host a time trial cross-country ski race, organized by the Club des Sports de Puy Saint Vincent - section ski de fond.

Originally scheduled to take place in Vallouise, the event has been relocated here due to the lack of snow. This is a regional championship qualifying for the French Cups, reserved for licensed skiers in categories U13 to senior. Start times are from 11 a.m., on a 2.5 km loop, for distances ranging from 3 to 15 km, depending on the category.

Holidaymakers wishing to ski in Nordic areas are advised to avoid the area, while the curious can come and cheer on the racers. Note: access to the telecombi will be free for pedestrians from 8am to 10am.
