Tobogganing areas
Puy Saint Vincent 1400 tobogganing area
Located on the snow front of the 1400 resort, this area is ideal for families with young children. Separated from the ski slopes, the area offers a gentle, well-designed slope for safe sliding. Easily accessible from the snow front or the Sagnes parking lot, it's the perfect place for a first gliding experience, under parental supervision, or to extend the pleasure after a day's skiing.
The area is freely accessible and suitable for all toboggans.
Puy Saint Vincent 1600 tobogganing area - Le Grapahute
At Le Grapahute, a special area has been set aside for tobogganing at the foot of the restaurant terraces. This area is equipped with the Crapahute carpet, making it easy to climb to the top of the slope... effortlessly! It's also a friendly place, much appreciated for its end-of-day atmosphere: families, children and even parents gather here for a shared sledding session.
Easy access from the 1600 snow front - marked and secured area.
Tobogganing
For those who like to get moving, Rando Luge is an experience in a class of its own. The idea? Take it easy on foot or on snowshoes up a specially adapted route, sled strapped to your back, before descending on fresh snow. With the whole family, this activity combines winter strolling with the pleasure of descending, in a more natural atmosphere. It's a great way to take in the scenery while enjoying the peace and quiet of snow-covered forests.
Departure: from the Les Prés sector (via chairlift or uphill on foot, depending on conditions) with toboggan on your back.
Finish: 1400 resort snow front. The route is marked as "Rando Luge / hiking toboggan" on the piste map.
Estimated time: approx. 1h20 for the toboggan descent, after a climb.
Special features: access is via the "Les Prés" telecabine or the footpath from 1600, then you finish with a nice 3.5 km toboggan run.
Snake Gliss
For a more collective, offbeat version of sledding, try Snake Gliss! The sleds are hooked together to form a long snake, guided by an instructor. The activity takes place at the end of the day, with a chairlift ride up and a group descent for guaranteed giggles.
