The village resort in the heart of the Écrins
Clinging to the heights of Vallouise, just a stone's throw from the Ecrins National Park, Puy Saint Vincent is the perfect balance of nature, conviviality and sporting spirit. The resort-village is built on three levels, giving it a unique character!
Puy Saint Vincent 1400 - Village spirit
This is the historic heart of Puy Saint Vincent, where it all began.
Nestled above the Vallouise valley, this area exudes authenticity: wooden chalets, alpine chapels and quiet alleyways make up a decor typical of the Southern Alps.
Here you'll find all types ofaccommodation (chalets, gîtes and apartments), a few essential shops (grocery store, bakery, restaurant, equipment rental), a tobogganing area and direct access to the slopes by gondola or chairlift for a practical and peaceful stay.
You'll also find the starting point for the Nordic ski area and hikes to the Col de Pousterle, an emblematic natural site of the resort, accessible on foot, snowshoes or cross-country skis.
Since 1400, you've been able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the village while staying connected to the ski area and the great outdoors.
Puy Saint Vincent 1600 - The heart of the resort
This is where it all happens!
At 1,600 meters, you'll find the nerve center of the resort: shops, restaurants, bars, ski schools, cinema and fun zones (luge and Crapahute areas). A wide range of accommodation is available - residences, apartments and hotels - most of which are ski-in/ski-out, for optimum comfort.
From 1600, you have easy access to the Col de la Pousterle and Narreyroux valleys, ideal for snowshoeing and ski touring. It's also the starting point for a host of winter activities and events, perfect for experiencing the resort atmosphere to the full.
A lively, practical and friendly area, ideal for families and those who like to be at the heart of the action.
Puy Saint Vincent 1800 - Altitude, comfort and panoramic views
Perched at an altitude of 1,800 meters, this is the highest sector of the resort and one of the quietest. Here, everything is designed to make the most of the mountains: direct access to the slopes, modern accommodation and a breathtaking view of the Écrins massif. The resort is mainly made up of tourist residences, apartments and chalets, perfect for a comfortable stay at the foot of the slopes. From Puy Saint Vincent 1800, you have easy access to high-altitude trails, ski touring routes and itineraries leading to the Col de la Pousterle.
In terms of services, there are several sports stores where you can rent skis, snowboards and accessories without leaving the area. For a bite to eat, there are two good places to visit: Le Tom Rider, a friendly restaurant-bar at the foot of the slopes, and Le restaurant du Parc aux Étoiles, offering tasty cuisine in a warm setting.
An ideal area to combine peace, comfort and fresh air, with all the essential amenities just a stone's throw from your accommodation.
